Update from the Field: Sierra and Kaitlin in Uganda
Sierra Clark and Kaitlin Paterson have arrived in Uganda at the end of May, where they will be spending the summer conducting qualitative research for IHACC. Kaitlin is working on food security issues while Sierra is working on acute gastrointestinal illnesses. You can read their first report here
Uganda-Peru Capacity Building: Didacus travels to Peru
Didacus Namanya recently traveled to Peru to assist the Peruvian team with health systems analyses and issues around governance. He spent time in Lima working with Dr Llanos, Dr Carcamo, Jahir, Nancy and Alejandra and then traveled with Alejandra to one of the communities where IHACC works. Congratulations to Allan Gordon: MASc Thesis now online
Congratulations to Allan Gordon from U of Guelph on the completion of his Masters of Applied Science Thesis: Tools and Strategies to Address Uncertainties and Complexities of Infrastructure Design in Remote Northern Canadian Communities. Allan worked under the supervision of Dr.Farahbakhsh from U of Guelph and will continue to work on IHACC related projects in the Canadian Arctic in 2014-2015.
